CYNTHIA ANN RODRIGUEZ JUN 8, 1952 - MAR 27, 2010
Cynthia was born on June 8,
1952 in Providence Rhode Island and passed away at the Alexander Cohen
Hospice House in Hughson on Saturday, March 27th, she was 57 years old.
Cyndy was an active member of CAL-ILA, LANA, ALSA, ILR and gave her time making the llama community a better place. She was awarded Premier Exhibitor at the 1999 State Fair.
Her professional career was dedicated to caring for animals and helping
others and was a resident of Escalon for 25 years. Cynthia dedicated her
life to caring for her family. She was very artistic and creative and
enjoyed the outdoors, painting, and woodworking. Cynthia was a 4-H
leader; vet tech. member of the Llama association and was highly
regarded for her public speaking in the animal community.
Cynthia is
preceded in death by her parents Tom and Alice Corey. She is survived by
her husband of 34 years, Joe Rodriguez; their two daughters Stacy Harris
and Stephanie Rangel; her grandchildren Noah, Joey, Matthew, Jackson and
Emma all of Escalon. She is also survived by her siblings Elaine
Vogelstein of New York, Tom Corey of Fort Bragg, John Corey of North
Carolina, and David Corey of San Mateo.
Her Celebration of Life will be
held on Monday, April 5 at 11:00 am at Deegan Funeral Chapel at 1441 San
Joaquin Street in Escalon. In loving memory please send donations to
