Cal-ILA - 2006 Tahoe Rim Trail

About half way we stopped at a meadow with a stream


We camped at a secluded lake. To bad we forgot the fishing poles.

Though the hike was not as easy as expected, even the unconditioned llamas/humans made it through.


We were quite a group

Three were not llama experienced - all three had hiking experience, two of which were instrumental in building parts of the Tahoe Rim Trail...

...Two were are experienced packers, Ellen Goldsmith and Toni Strassburg. Without them this trip would not have happened...

...Two were first timers, Dave & Suzann Penry. They would bring back with them more information then could be read in any book.
