This show combines what was CAL-ILA's Annual Grass Valley Show and LANA's Round Up!

DOUBLE HALTER & PERFORMACE Youth Halter & Shorn Alpaca Single fleece Show

This new venue is replacing the Cal-ILA Grass Valley Show after 18 years! Everyone putting on the show is very excited about this new adventure and hope you all will come to support and have a wonderful time.

The show superintendent is putting some incredible energy into making this a very exciting time for all. Here are just a few possibilities that she is working on taking advantage of us being at a remarkable vineyard.

Membership Meeting - March 8th

The 30th Annual Membership meeting was held in a new venue this year at the Cielo Estate Winery in Shingle Springs, near Placerville.

It was announced at the meeting that Greg & EstherSue Sykes were recognized with the Murray Fowler Award for their support and contributions to the camelid community.

Lora Crawford was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement award.

This year saw the election of a new slate of directors and officers for the organization.

2014 Events!

We hope you are excited about the events planned for this year.  Here are some of the highlights;
 
Ranch Tours, Hikes, Clinics and Parades.
And we are still looking for volunteers to host ranch tours, lead hikes and participate in clinics and parades.  Just let a Board member know how you want to get involved.

So get on-board and help us plan for 2014.  We need your ideas, comments and help to keep CAL-ILA alive and contributing to the llama community.
