Meeting called to order 10:12 AM
New Business
Davis Annual Membership Meeting- March 17th 2007
- Weekend before the Vets are at a training seminar in Oregon. Our meeting therefore will conflict with the March Magic Llama Show in Southern California.This is the time we were able to reserve the Davis facility for our annual meeting. Solicit membership for people interested in running for the Board. Two positions open. Dennie Hansen to send out fliers for General Membership Meeting.
Membership Chairman:
- Danielle Wagoner wishes to be replaced from doing the membership responsibilities.
- Margaret Ricci volunteered to cover for Danielle.
Grass Valley & State Fair Committees
- Meeting January 20, 2007 at Dennie Hansen's home in Vacaville
- Greg Sykes to have conversance call with Tommy Joe from the State Fair regarding the show superintendent position Wednesday.January 3, 2007.
ALSA Obstacles Regulations:
- ALSA has changed the requirements so our bridge, ramps and step obstacles are now obsolete. Don Ritchey volunteered to make new obstacles to meet the new requirements.
April 1, 2007
- Llama walks on the Sutter Buttes. There will be more details to follow via e-mail.
Mary 2007
- Ester Sue and Greg are having a John Mallon Training Clinic. Actually date not yet determined.
4th of July Parade
- This year is held in Grass Valley. We all had a great time last year and look forward to even more participants this year!
Clipper Party:
- Discussion of the Clipper Party. Possible date is the second weekend in May. Location was discussed at either the Adam's or Penry's ranch
December 1, 2007:
- Suggestion made for Cal-Ila to sponsor an entry in the Marysville Christmas Parade. Only $25 entry fee for group to participate.
