Cal-ILA President Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that attended the CAL-ILA general meeting at U. C. DAVIS and to welcome our new members. I think a good time was had by all and a lot of information shared.
The board of directors will remain the same this year. The only change is that Margaret has a new job that will be taking up a lot of her time (long hours) and has decided to step down as president, but knowing Margaret she will continue to work for Cal-Ila as hard as she always has. Anyone thinking about running for the board should contact one of the current board members and get their name on the upcoming ballot. It is a great experience and a chance for you to be more involved in all that Cal-Ila does.
I would also like to thank Danielle Wagoner for all her help keeping up the membership list and setting up the membership handbook every year.
We have a lot of things planned for this year, so keep checking the web sight for dates. Participation is the key to our success.
If you have any ideas for a fun thing to do with our llamas, call a board member and we can try to make it happen. This is your organization and any input is always welcome and a big help to us all.
Hope to see a lot of you at the Grass Valley show.
