Camelid Symposium

The Camelid Symposium is a 2-day winter lecture series sponsored by the  UC Davis Camelid Medicine Club, Calpaca, CAL-ILA and other camelid enthusiasts.

The Symposium is generally designed around three “tracks” or areas of interest.  The “Basic” track provides important information for new owners, breeders and the general public.  The “Advanced” track covers the more detailed information long-term owners and breeders are interested in.  And the “Veterinarian” track offers information useful to veterinarians treating llamas and alpacas in their practices.

The three tracks run concurrently and are open to all Symposium attendees.

The Symposium is the definitive venue to find out about the latest research, trends and issues facing the camelid community.

CAL-ILA is a proud sponsor of this event and we encourage our membership to attend and participate.
