California State Fair
The dates have changed! The llama show started on Friday, July 23rd and ran through Monday, July 26th. Release time was back to 6pm on Monday. http://www.bigfun.org
Passport to Adventure
The theme for this year was "Passport to Adventure". What better theme to showcase the llamas? Our exhibitors displays really coordinated with the passport theme!
The costume class was full and everyone got into the fair's theme.
We Missed You!
What did you miss? The show was much smaller this year (40 llamas instead of the usual 90!) The crowds were smaller (not a holiday weekend) and the temperatures were down-right pleasant.
Beth Meyers and Wally Baker judged our events. Beth entertained the audience with her comments and exuberance. Several exhibitors from last year who stopped by to visit told us they would be back next year along with all of this year's exhibitors.
Keep an eye on the website for deadline announcements for the 2011 show, that way you will be sure not to miss the deadline to register.
